John has been a professional actor since the 1970s, working in New York, regional, tour and in Atlanta. He is the founding director of The TellTale Theatre.He recently appeared with Robert Redford in A WALK IN THE WOODS and worked with Burth Reynolds in HAMLET AND HUTCH (out on DVD.) He was the Editor of a scandal sheet in DEVIOUS MAIDS. On camera he’s been a murdering father, a devil fighting priest, a televangelist, governor and several detectives, most recently Dectective Schaffly in the tv pilot, Mr. Lockjaw. He also loves doing sitcoms like THE LOCKHAVENS. He recently played what he hopes will be a recurring guest star role as the lead’s therapist in JUST DIVORCED. Most of his career has been spent enjoying great stage roles: Petruchio, Tevye, Henry V, MacHeath, El Gallo, Nathan Detroit, Brick, Thoreau, Teddy Roosevelt and Grandier; he’s now having a ball focusing on film.
